The first feature is - Automatic Translation Language Selection.

In order to maximize translation quality, the Wordly AI translation engine needs to know which language each speaker is using. The new capability enables Wordly to automatically detect the speaker language in real time, and switch the input language when participants start speaking in a different language - making it even easier to host multi-language meetings and events.

You have the option of using our new automated language selection technology, or continuing to switch the speaker input languages manually.

The second feature is - Push to Talk Translation

If you are hosting multi-language meetings where participants are in the same room, it is important to ensure the translation system knows which language is being used as the speakers change. With the new Push to Talk capability, everyone can be logged in as a speaker with their microphones muted. As each person speaks, they press a button on their device to unmute their microphone while they are speaking. When they release the button, another participant can begin speaking in their preferred language.

Push to Talk Example

Imagine you had a meeting with three attendees speaking different languages. Dave speaks English - Marie speaks French - and Thomas speaks Spanish. If Dave presses and holds the button to unmute his device and starts speaking in English, Marie and Thomas can follow along by reading subtitles in French and Spanish respectively - or listening to the audio translation in French and Spanish. After Dave is finished speaking he releases the button, and Marie can start speaking in French - while Dave and Thomas follow along in English and Spanish.
